Kohsar School & College runs boarding and day-scholar programmes side by side in Murree, for a roll of more than 950 students. Holding both groups in one system was the school's central difficulty.
Residential students and day scholars follow different daily patterns and carry different charges, and they were tracked apart from one another. That meant no single, complete view of a student existed: hostel information sat in one place and general school records in another, and staff had to bring the two together manually whenever a full picture was needed.
The school's Director summarised it directly — “Boarding students and day scholars on one system was our challenge.”
