Billed separately
- SMS credits
- Text messages are charged against your own SMS gateway account. You pay your provider for the volume you send, so a school that sends few messages is not subsidising one that sends many.
- WhatsApp messaging
- Sent through the WhatsApp Business API, which Meta charges per conversation on your own account. EduPortal does not add a markup on top.
- Setup & data import
- A one-time cost, quoted per school. It depends on how many student, staff and fee records you are bringing across and what condition that data is in.
- On-site staff training
- Also quoted per school, based on how many campuses and staff need covering. Remote handover is part of normal onboarding.

EduPortal has three plans, billed monthly: Silver at Rs. 4,000 per month for up to 300 students, Gold at Rs. 7,000 per month for up to 800 students, and Diamond at Rs. 12,000 per month for up to 1,200 students. Paying yearly reduces the equivalent monthly rate by 10% — Rs. 43,200, Rs. 75,600 and Rs. 129,600 per year respectively. These are the published prices; there is no need to request a quote to find out what EduPortal costs.
Choose by enrollment. Silver suits institutes up to 300 students that need the core school management modules. Gold covers up to 800 students and adds the parent and teacher mobile apps, academic planning and POS, which is why it is the most common choice for growing schools. Diamond covers up to 1,200 students and adds the finance, hostel and premium customization modules. The comparison table above lists exactly which modules are in each plan.
Every module marked for your plan in the comparison table above is included in the monthly price — there is no separate per-module licence fee. Your plan covers your student roll up to its limit — 300 on Silver, 800 on Gold, 1,200 on Diamond — and those modules stay available for as long as your subscription is active.
Four things are billed separately from the plan price. SMS credits are not included — text messages are charged against your own SMS gateway account, so you pay your provider for the volume you actually send. WhatsApp messaging through the WhatsApp Business API is charged per conversation by Meta, again on your own account. One-time onboarding work such as initial setup and importing your existing student, staff and fee records is quoted separately, because it depends on how much data you are bringing across and what condition it is in.
